Tusvanyos Festival


Hello my readers! Finally the show parade is a lil’bit silenced and now I have time for blogging! I don’t know if you saw but we have a new headline on the SM blog called “Products”. You can buy or order in any color or concept you want, just leave a msg here! If you want refashion (from old cloths make new ones) or retouch, just contact us!

Tusvanyos for me was a lifetime experience because I had my first presentation and my first live interview at the radio, I was so excited and I learned a lot!


How about you Ildi? This fashion show was my first one, so I was very excited, and scared a little bit. But when the preparation was running I felt self-confidence, and I already knew, that everything’s going to be all right.

We had a worm welcoming and I really want to thank for the organizers all that nice hospitality and this big opportunity. I think my shocking moment was, when stranger people came into the” backstage” and asked about the SM show :D…


The SM presented two collections (the sport and the recycled child collection based on tales). We opened the conversation about SM and future projects, as an introduction for the people. We had a nice blogger volunteer who shared her blogging problems, by listening her I realized we had the same issues at the start (the connection between blogger and reader , this is the most common problem, what bloggers have), so I gave her tips and ideas how to get closer to her readers and I advised her to use statistics, because people enjoy reading them.

Ildi you are a blogger as well, so please add some of your ideas about this problem:


My blog is very “fresh” . In my posts I write about my activities and I try to give to my readers useful advice and valuable information. I have to work on the frequency of my posts and I have to motivate them to put me questions, to be more interactive.


The show was opened by the Kid collection, which the people loved so much. I think that from now on I will always do garments for kids because people really like it, and it helps the show a lot. The garments stayed spectacular on the kids.




















The sport collection brought the real festival vibe in to the show, we used as a finale for the presentation.































The garments looked impeccable (I was a lil’bit worried cuz I didn’t had the flatiron with me and the long road could have destroyed the garments, but the cloths have made it :D).  I’ve chosen hairstyles, for the sport collection, which are elegant and sporty at the same time. I’ve tried to make hairstyles which follow the original nature of the hair.









I want to thank those who participated to the show and those who were there to support the SM crew! We hope you liked our presentation! Sincerely the SM crew!

It's good to combine proteins with carbohydrates?


Hello SM readers! 



Diets based on „food combining” principle, separates proteins from carbohydrates. Beans, lentils, nuts, and seeds contains them both. The healthiest nation in the world are formed by persons who follow diets based on these products.

There is a number of diets that follow this principle and it’s based on the work of Dr. Hay, from the '30s.

He encouraged the consumption of wholegrain foods, fruits and vegetables. He also claimed that fruits need to be eat'd separately, if they were consumed after a steak for example, then the fruit could ferment which is not healthy.

He also recommends not to eat carbohydrates accompanied with proteins. For example: pasta with rice, or chicken with fried potatoes are not healthy together.

A study where they recommend obese and overweight persons to follow this type of diet showed a 3,6% change in their weight during an year. Although subjects were not advised to eat less or to change the type of food consumed, there was no method of pointing up that the weight loss was determined by the combination technique or the changes in the quantity or quality of the consumed food.




Most overweight people have problems with blood sugar, it would seem that a combination of protein with carbohydrates to be a better solution, not worse.




So fish with rice is definitely an option.




This is a basic diet, besides fruits and vegetables, many populations on islands and isolated areas around the world use this diet and they are populations with a very good health.

Dr. Hay’s approach, if followed it strictly, is probably the best suited for those with digestive problems and not so good for those with blood sugar issues.





And behold, now a recipe for a healthy breakfast:

Do not forget breakfast is very important to maintain your body weight!




Porridge

Preparation of lasts, usually 3-5 minutes, depending on the size of the flakes. You can also use oatmeal, but it will take longer.
250-275 ml skimmed milk, soya or rice milk 

250-275 ml water

75 g oat flakes

2 spoons of honey

1 spoon of freshly ground flax and pumpkin seeds

Step 1: turn the milk and water in a saucepan and slowly add the flakes. Allow to boil and leave it for 4-5 minutes. Keep stirring all the time.

Step 2: Serve with honey and the ground seed mixture.

60's Leather Dress


Hello my readers! Yesterday SM achieved a nice presentation ( I think ) and I'm so proud of my crew and I want to say a "BIG THANK YOU ALL":D! For you my readers "THANK YOU FOR COMING!" I will write about the show a lil'bit latter... I'm exhausted cuz in the last two weeks SM had some big presentations, challenges and we are working on some new projects to make the blog more interesting :D!




Today is a weekly look day which means i have some nice brand new SM cloths for you :D! Indeed! For this week I made a Fall Leather dress inspired by the 60's. I miss the old lines and simple feminine form from my design. I made this look for my rainy September days. This dress will cheer me up!

Digestive problems and the wheat



A research made by the Optimal Nutrition Institute made an investigation on 66 persons, with digestive problems, about the effects of removing the wheat from the diet.The experimental subjects have stopped consuming it for 6 week, to find out, if they are allergic to wheat.


The results show that 90% of the participant’s digestive functions have improved.6 of the digestive problem’s symptoms have been reduced:


-constipation

-flatulence

-distention

-food appetite

-lack of energy

-sudden mood changes







It’s not exaggerating if we say that these people had wheat intolerance.

If you suffer from one of these symptoms, and you consume more than 3 dose of wheat per day, it’s highly possible that you are wheat sensitive. You may discover that it’s better for your digestive if you skip or reduce the amount of consumed wheat to one single dose in every 4 days.

In a digestive recovery program, most of the cases it’s better to choose a diet without wheat approximately for a month.

Here are some foods, which are allowed in a diet without wheat:

Bakery products: rye bread, corn bread, oat bun


Pasta: buckwheat spaghetti, Japanese noodles(hriska), rice noodles, guinoe pasta, corn pasta







Cereals: cornflakes, porridge



Other starch foods: potato, brown rice, hominy

Salads

Hello my readers! This Friday is a big day for the SM crew and I'm so exited :D! As you may know, today is a health and beauty day at Style Mile :D...For today our lovely nutritionist Andrea Kirsch prepared two easy recipes: apple, celery salad and a broccoli salad.She recommends for everyone, it's easy, healthy and they not contain many calories. It's perfect for a healthy dinner. So, I recommend you to try and trust these recipes if you want a healthy and tasty dinner.

Salad of celery with apple:

Ingredients:

1 piece of celery root
1 piece of apple
4 spoons of yogurt 1.5% fat
1 spoon of lime-juice
seal salt
nuts
1 ligature/bundle of parsley

Preparation:
Clean the celery, and then scrape it on the grater with small teeth.
Clean the apple of its peel, and scrape it on the grater with large teeth.
Mix the apple with the celery, yogurt, lime-juice, salt and kernel/nutmeat in a pan/pot.
It is served immediately/instantly, scattered/peppered with red parsley.



Salad with broccoli

Ingredients:
1 piece of broccoli
1 piece of chicken breast
bay leaf
2 spoons of oil
sea salt
yogurt 1.5% fat
allspice
2 pieces of potato

Preparation:
The chicken breast is put to boil with an onion, 2 bay leafs, 2 grain of allspice, little bit of salt.
The potatoes are boiled in an other pot with a little bit of salt. The broccoli is boiled with a little
bit of salt in a third pot. When all the ingredients are boiled and are cooled we make the salad
in 3 layers:

1st  layer – chicken breast cut to cubes, salt, oil, yogurt
2nd layer – boiled potato scraped on the large grater, salt, oil, yogurt
3rd layer – boiled broccoli, salt
